Senior Delivery Manager – Insurance Domain Description

We are looking for a Senior Delivery Manager from the Insurance area to strengthen our Delivery Management Team and drive end-to-end client projects cooperating closely with our Account Managers and Business Development.
To be successful in this role, you must be able to engage people, clients, working fully autonomously and build your own strategy aligned to EPAM strategy and goals.

Responsibilities
- Be responsible for the end-to-end client delivery from initiation through the whole life cycle and ensuring projects/programs are delivered successfully and in line with EPAM processes
- Manage client relationship, expectations, represent delivery at project, program and governance level
- Address client issues, identify and manage engagement risks, ensure that the client executes their responsibilities
- Co-ordinate the preparation of proposals and statements of work
- Run multiple streams of activities and coordinate with client technical and business groups in various stages of the SDLC lifecycle
- Be accountable for delivery in all aspects – financial, sourcing, implementation and business as well as regulatory requirements
- Cooperate with your peers, delivery partners, technology consultants, account managers and solution architects
- Work closely with multi-disciplined teams of product owners, architects, engineers and quality assurance experts to drive estimates, delivery plans and retrospectives. Identify and manage engagement risks and flag serious issues early
- Participate in business development activities for existing clients and new prospects. Understand client needs, continuously identifying new opportunities and drive growth of the accounts you are associated with
- Lead and represent delivery in sales and presales activities until contracting and beyond, contribute to grow our business in Insurance domain
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience working in consulting or outsourcing Account/Delivery/Project Management and 3+ years of working experience in Insurance domain
- Hands-on experience delivering complex projects, managing client stakeholders on all levels and successfully driving IT services engagements
- Ability to represent the company at external events
- Deep understanding and hands-on experience with Software Development Life Cycle, and various methodologies, practical experience with agile delivery
- Hands-on experience with different engagement models such as T&M, FP, Fixed Terms, etc
- Solid understanding of Software Architecture designs and principles
- Solid understanding of IT Service Management processes, engagement models and best practices
- Ability to establish solid working relationships with clients, plus the ability to work effectively as a member of a dynamic, dispersed virtual team
- Exceptional organizational, leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent English and German/French language
