MISSION
As an E-Shop Specialist, you will manage and develop our international e-commerce platforms (Shopify & WooCommerce), ensuring their performance, stability, and scalability. You will serve as the technical point of contact for internal stakeholders, handle configurations and integrations, and contribute to strategic digital growth in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
You will report to the Head of Digital and play a key role in supporting EMS's digital acceleration globally.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
E-Commerce Platform Management
- Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the Shopify-based EMS e-shops and WooCommerce platforms, including performance, updates, and overall maintenance.
- Manage product catalogs, including creation, updates, pricing, categorization, and product merchandising.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure all product launches, campaigns, and seasonal activities are accurately reflected online.
Technical Coordination & Troubleshooting
- Serve as the main point of contact for all technical aspects related to the e-shops.
- Manage and troubleshoot issues related to payment gateways, shipping integrations, checkout flows, and third-party apps.
- Liaise with developers, IT, or external agencies when advanced technical support or custom development is needed.
User Experience & Functional Improvements
- Optimize user journey and customer experience across the platforms, including navigation, search functionality, and mobile responsiveness.
- Identify areas for enhancement and propose new features, plugins, or design adjustments to improve usability and performance.
- Implement and test updates or new tools while ensuring stability and alignment with brand guidelines.
Reporting, Analysis & Documentation
- Monitor and report on key e-commerce KPIs such as sales trends, traffic, conversion rates, and abandoned cart behavior.
- Conduct analysis using platforms such as Google Analytics or built-in e-commerce dashboards to identify insights and support decision-making.
- Maintain detailed documentation of platform structure, processes, and key configurations.
Internal Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support
- Collaborate with Marketing to align e-commerce activities with broader digital campaigns and product communication.
- Work closely with Logistics, Customer Service, and Finance to streamline order processing, returns, payments, and invoicing flows.
- Support the international deployment of e-shops, considering language, currency, tax, and legal variations.
EDUCATION & PERSONAL SKILLS
- Bachelor's degree in IT, E-commerce, Computer Science, or Marketing (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 2+ years of experience with Shopify (WooCommerce experience is a plus).
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS, APIs, SEO basics, and third-party integrations.
- Analytical mindset and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
- Fluent in English (mandatory); other languages are an asset.
- Experience in international e-commerce environments is a plus.
