Sports and Games-time data - 80%

• Support the comprehensive collection and analysis of quantitative data across a variety of key performance indicators on sports' popularity.
• Clean, process and prepare data from various internal and external resources for the analysis, ensuring its accuracy and integrity.
• Generate reports on emerging trends and future developments in the sports industry, as well as the evolving sports landscape, with support from various internal and external resources.
• Work cross-functionally to support the integration of new tools and platforms to streamline information and data processing and ensure timely access to critical insights.
• Develop, maintain and improve automated processes for information storage and data collection, enhancing efficiency and reducing manual effort.
• Manage team project tracking tools and dashboards.

Strategic programme support - 10%

• Assist in the analysis and review of each sports programme.
• Support the logistical and administrative elements including meetings and Games-time observations.
• Collaborate on the preparation of final reports, presentations and recommendations for internal and external stakeholders

Strategic projects - 10%

• Support the unit in the research, development and implementation of key strategic projects.

Profile

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in data science, statistics, information systems or a related field. A master's degree or equivalent professional experience is advantageous.
• Three to five years' experience in data analysis, preferably within a sports or large-scale event management environment.
• Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in additional languages (e.g. French) is a plus.
• Advanced knowledge of data visualisation and reporting platforms such as Power BI.
• Familiarity with project management tools like Smartsheet and collaborative platforms in the Microsoft 365 suite.
• Experience working with data that is confidential and may be subject to data-protection regulations (GDPR) and specific information security protocols.
