The Position
Global Medical Science Leader (GMSL) Hematology

The Opportunity:

You provide medical expertise to the Hematology Disease Areas (DA) and contribute to medical strategy components such as evidence generation, dissemination, and medical insights as part of an integrated strategy.

You contribute or lead the planning and execution of evidence generation strategies relevant in the Hematology disease area. including clinical studies, Investigator-Initiated Studies (IIS), real-world data, and scientific research collaborations.

You lead or support the generation and dissemination of clinical and medical insights, ensuring these are shared effectively across the global medical network and business community.

You review and approve studies: Conduct review and approval of investigator-initiated studies (IIS), research collaborations, and supported study proposals, as needed and appropriate

You generate integrated medical insights to inform strategies and plans, including identifying medical and access gaps/needs.

You provide medical and functional expertise to market access strategies and related operational plans. Collaborating with internal and external partners to address evidence generation

You assess the needs and coordinate compassionate use and pre-approval access strategies and plans for the assigned product(s).

You integrate emerging trends: Integrate emerging trends in digital health, technology, and data science into strategic planning.

You build effective networks: Build purposeful networks with healthcare stakeholders across multiple cultures and countries.
Who You Are:

Educational Background: You hold an advanced life-science degree (e.g., MD, PhD or PharmD),. A specialization degree and experience in the disease area are a plus .

Medical Affairs Experience: You have robust medical affairs and/or pharmaceutical medicine experience.

High Ethical Standards: You demonstrate integrity and compliance in all professional activities.

Strategic Agility: You have the ability to make informed, strategic decisions effectively.

Patient-Centric Approach: You prioritize patients in clinical development and medical practice activities.

Launch Experience: Your experience with the launch of medical products or indications will drive successful product introduction .
