The Commercial Operations Manager will lead a team of 15 people across several locations, reporting directly to the COO. His mission is to maintain control over diverse streams of metals operations.

Description
- Oversee onboarding and client account maintenance (KYC, tenders, contracts)
- Oversee daily commercial operations (deliveries, pricing, invoicing, payments, reconciliation)
- Ensuring good communication with relationship managers, production, logistics, treasury, trading and back-office
- Formalize and coordinate the implementation of procedures related to new client accounts
- In collaboration with the COO, design and monitor operational key performance indicators
- In collaboration with IT project managers, help building/upgrading IT tools related to client operations
- Effectively promote synergies and ensure good coordination and collaboration with other departments
- Make suggestions for improvement, bring innovative ideas and thinking
- Carry out work in a gender and diversity-sensitive manner
- Accomplish other duties as assigned
Profile
- Master degree in Economics, finance, or other relevant field
- Experience in a commodity trading house or financial institution
- 2-3 years of experience in a team and project management position
- Leadership skills and high drive
- Excellent interpersonal skills and customer orientation
- Agile and flexible mindset, reactive to requests
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to to interact with colleagues with different cultural backgrounds
- Proficiency in spoken and written English required
