Job Description
lastminute.com is looking for a Business Analyst for its Supply Platform Team based in Chiasso.
The candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with the platform teams (Supply, Ancillary), as well as the Value Streams (Flight, Hotel, DP), becoming a key member in the Platform Insights team, leveraging his/her analytical and technical skills to produce actionable insight and improve business performance.
Specifically, he/she will have the chance to work on ancillary, flight and hotel supply integrations strategies, as well as pricing and traffic segmentation, and to observe market performance behaviours for the purpose of testing new approaches to revenue management. Moreover, there will be opportunities to work closely with product teams and finance/economics teams to define metrics, KPI and managerial views to help the business analyse and deepdive the data.
He/She will do so using company BI tools as well as using, implementing and maintaining bespoke debug and data wrangling tools built in Python.
The candidate will also have the chance to support development teams with data and insight, influencing their roadmap and having a direct impact on the group’s digital assets.
The role involves presenting analysis and results directly to senior managers, with a significant exposure to C-levels.

Driving decision making and strategy with data and analytical insight
Executing multiple projects across teams to successfully achieve specific goals and objectives
Create, maintain and use tools to help product and business teams spot issues or gather insights
Qualifications
Essential
Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics or similar fields
Excellent knowledge of Excel
Good knowledge of SQL programming language
Good knowledge of Python for data analysis, scraping/scripting and as a backend (Selenium, Flask, gunicorn, FastAPI)
Fluency in English
Ability to influence decision-makers through presentation of analysis
Desirable
Previous experience in an analytical role
Knowledge of business intelligence tools
Familiarity with digital and ecommerce business
Any other language will be considered a plus
