The role
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting, customizing, and enhancing the SAP PP module to align with our manufacturing and production needs. You play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing the SAP PP landscape within the organization, focusing on both SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments. How you'll make an impact
- Serve as internal consultant for the SAP PP (Production Planning) module, providing in-depth knowledge and support for all related processes and configurations; Perform customizing and configuration of the SAP PP module to meet business requirements, including production planning, scheduling, material requirements planning (MRP), and shop floor control.
- Assist in the design, testing, and implementation of new SAP PP functionalities and configurations, ensuring they meet business requirements related to production planning and manufacturing processes.
- Work closely with other SAP module teams (e.g., MM, SD, QM, FI/CO) and external application teams to ensure seamless integration and data flow within the SAP landscape; Support the brownfield conversion projects to SAP S/4HANA, focusing on PP module-related activities.
- Provide training and documentation for key users and warehouse staff, ensuring a smooth transition to new SAP PP functionalities
- 5+ years of experience in SAP PP consulting or equivalent roles; Extensive experience with SAP ECC WM and SAP S/4HANA EWM, including customizing and configuration of key processes like production planning, MRP, capacity planning, or shop floor control.
- Familiarity with SAP integration techniques relevant to PP, such as IDocs, BAPIs, and middleware solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex business processes and provide efficient SAP PP solutions.
- Experience in supporting brownfield conversion project from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA highly desirable.
- Proficient in English language, any skills German, Spanish or Croatian is a plus.
