A position is open for a Client Relationship Officer in the South & Andean team. You will be working in Geneva and be the point of entry for all operational requests from bankers or clients.
Your role
• Be the point of entry for all operational requests from bankers or clients
• Be able to take orders and place orders in the system from clients
• Lead the end-to-end account opening process taking into consideration the local regulatory specificities that drive the documentation requirements
• Ensure a strict follow up of documentation (pendings, middle office, R&C lists) by contacting clients in coordination with banker in lead of the relation
• Lead KYC information gathering where required and update complementary documents in the systems when needed
• Process workflow requests in the systems and ensure relevant client documentation is captured in the systems
• Close coordination with the zone’s Business Risk Manager to resolve any risk & compliance matters
• Lead and organize the prioritization and remediation of Key Risk Indicator within the team
• Adhere to all existing policies and directives and support the implementation of new ones where needed
• Process payments and transfers while ensuring call backs are systematically performed and support for other transactional activity where needed
• Build a close relationship and understanding of the relevant internal stakeholders (Voyages, Middle Office, R&C, etc.) and be their point of contact for the team
• Ensure telephone call coverage is in place in the team support administrative tasks where required
Your profile
• Service orientated, with experience and understanding of dealing with private clients and supporting relationship managers
• Understand client documentation and internal processes of a wealth manager
• Having worked on a South & Andean desk and knowledge of clients is an advantage.
• Familiarity with regulatory dimensions (cross-border, R&C, PEP, CARA, FATCA, CRS etc)
• Bachelor’s degree or similar relevant qualification
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar function
• Fluent in English and Spanish
• Attention to detail
• Able to work independently and diligently
• Reliable and resilient, with a strong sense of responsibility and an ability to multi-task
• Solutions-oriented and proactive mindset
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and oral
