WinGD is looking for a
Project Manager New Engines
Responsibilities:
- Are you ready to join our journey towards a low carbon future for marine applications? We are looking for a technical project manager new engines who can contribute to drive our Future Fuels strategy
- Planning and Scheduling: Develop a detailed project plan, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation
- Coordination: Work with multiple teams, including engineering, design and local product centres to ensure all project deliverables are ready on time
- Testing and Validation: Oversee engine test planning to ensure the engine meets design specifications and safety standards
- Documentation: Maintain records of major project activities to ensure project can be audited against relevant standards
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve any problems that arise during project execution
- Communication: Keep all stakeholders informed about the progress and any issues that may impact the project timeline
- Risk Management: Identify, qualify, quantify and manage project risks, and ensure that all possible scenarios have been given relevant consideration
Requirements:
- University degree in (Mechanical) Engineering
- 3-5 years of fundamental experience in project management
- Minimum 3 years of 2- or 4-stroke diesel/otto engine development, preferably in the marine sector
- PMP (PMI) Project Management Professional) certificate or equivalent is a plus
- Good understanding of the engineering process for marine engine development
- Knowledge of the shipping industry and marine applications and regulations
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings
- Passion for prototype development and results achievement
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic working environment and work within diverse teams with a pragmatic attitude
- Excellent oral and written communication skills (English)
- Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with others and manage conflict resolution if needed
