Tâches
- Gérer les ressources structurelles de Prof. Katapodi : personnel et finances.
- Assister à l'embauche et à la gestion des voyages d'affaires du personnel.
- Organiser des événements internes et soutenir l'équipe de recherche.
Compétences
- Expérience comme assistant administratif dans un milieu multiculturel.
- Communication efficace en allemand et anglais, français un plus.
- Compétences en informatique avancées (MS-Office, Excel).

The post holder reports to Prof. Maria Katapodi and works closely with her and her research team.
Your position
- Assuming responsibility for the structural resources of Prof. Dr. Maria Katapodi: personnel, finances, secretariat
- Personnel: Assist with hiring, briefing of new employees, management of business travels, vacations and absences. Everything in cooperation with the departments of HR Decentral and HR Central of University of Basel
- Finances: Budget projections, controlling research credits / third-party funds / operating funds, account assignment, expense reports. Everything in cooperation with the Finance (Accounting & Controlling) department of University Basel
- IT Support: manage hardware and software needs in collaboration with the IT Department of the University of Basel
- Secretary tasks: Organization of internal events, representational work, helping with the organization of Prof. Dr. Katapodi’s teaching courses, organizing office supplies for the research team, assist in the completion of presentations and websites, organize meetings
Your profile
- Proven working experience as administrative assistant or project assistant and/or general administrative support in a highly dynamic, diverse and multicultural team and context
- Confident oral and written communication in German and English is a prerequisite. Good knowledge of French and Italian is an advantage
- Solution- and goal-oriented attitude, flexible, independent, efficient
- Quick comprehension, absolute reliability
- Very good PC user skills (MS-Office, Excel), SAP knowledge is an advantage
- Open-minded committed personality
