Job Description
We are looking for a highly qualified Compliance Manager to oversee the compliance aspects of our business. You will safeguard our reputation by guaranteeing that the company strictly follows law and compliance guidelines and give legal advice to management about all relevant issues. The successful candidate will effectively ensure legal and compliance conformity and minimize the probability of exposure. You will also be responsible for implementing policies and procedures aligned with standards and regulations such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA and GDPR.
Responsibilities
- Ensure ongoing compliance with ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR, and other applicable frameworks.
- Implement and enhance policies and procedures aligned with industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct regular assessments to verify and validate compliance efforts.
- Manage and review vendor paperwork, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Give accurate and timely counsel to executives on a variety of legal topics (labor law, partnerships, trademarks, telecom, disputes, and security questionnaires. etc.)
- Apply effective risk management techniques and offer proactive advice on possible legal issues
- Communicate and negotiate with external parties (regulators, external counsel, public authority etc.), creating relations of trust
- Proven experience in a compliance or legal role, preferably in a similar industry.
- Knowledge of ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR, and other relevant frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to create legal defensive or proactive strategies
- A high degree of professional ethics and integrity
- Outstanding communication skills
- MA or BSc in Business Administration will be considered an advantage
- Fluent in English (Both writing and speaking)
