On behalf of our client, a luxury hotel in Zurich, we are seeking a Junior Application Support Specialist to join their Corporate Services IT team. In this role, you will help ensure the smooth operation of the hotel's software applications and IT services that support daily operations. You will be the go-to person for colleagues needing technical assistance, helping maintain the systems that enable exceptional guest service.

Key Responsibilities

• Application Management: Install, update, and maintain business applications across the hotel to ensure smooth and secure operations.
• User Support: Provide first-level support to staff by resolving application-related issues and IT queries, either on-site or remotely.
• Vendor Coordination: Liaise with external software vendors and service providers for support, updates, and issue resolution.
• Staff Training: Deliver basic training on application use and create simple documentation to assist users.
• License Management: Monitor software licenses and subscriptions, ensuring compliance and assisting with renewals.
• Mobile Device Support: Configure and maintain smartphones and tablets used by staff, including app setup and troubleshooting.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education & Experience: Basic IT education (apprenticeship, diploma, or certification) or relevant experience in IT support.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with Windows-based systems, software installation/configuration, and basic networking.
• Service Orientation: Friendly, professional, and helpful attitude with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Eagerness to Learn: Proactive mindset with a desire to expand technical skills and adapt to new tools.
• Languages: Fluent German (spoken and written) is required. Basic English is a plus.
• Team Player: Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
