Our business support role is responsible for ensuring proper IT operations for the APAC based organizations. IT Operations include local business operations support including helpdesk (global), security, disaster recovery / business continuity / emergency management and business application support.
What would your role be?
Take responsibility for workplace incident management and request fulfilment.
Ensure that reporting is completed with regards to IT operational performance with a clear articulation and analysis of trends
Develop and execute plans to reduce ticket volumes and implement automation.
In partnership with functional managers, ensure that APAC IT team is operating in adherence to IT protocols and standards across all utilized applications.
Proactively own and manage escalations from all users, liaising with internal IT teams and third parties to achieve satisfactory outcomes.
Build strong relationships and act as a bridge between IT, the APAC businesses and support functions.
Become responsible for hands-on IT support helpdesk and day-to-day IT operations / monitoring.
Manage and support IT projects implementation and deployment of technologies related to the workspace technology and services.
Be a team player delivering high quality IT services to all globally and maintaining high availability of IT systems.
What are we looking for?
5-10+ years of experience preferably in financial services, ideally with a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
Sound knowledge of Windows, Blackberry, M365, Market Data Applications, Virtualisation technologies (Citrix, Hyper-V).
Initiative and ability to structure and drive projects from idea to completion are a must.
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with effective communication skills: listening, written, verbal.
A self-starter who takes ownership and accountability.
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fluid environment.
