The mission of the School of Practical Arts is to train students in the operational demands of the hospitality industry, including the management of food and beverage services, guest reception, staff supervision, and event organization. The programs focus on service excellence, attention to detail, as well as culinary and hospitality expertise. They allow students to develop practical skills that complement their theoretical knowledge .

What will you do?
- Teach novice students about the importance of mixology in the hospitality industry, through theoretical sessions covering topics like the history of cocktails, ingredient knowledge, and the art of drink presentation, as well as practical sessions focused on cocktail preparation techniques, bar tools usage, and customer service skills.
- Prepare your classroom teaching sessions, supervise students during practical bar shifts, and offer mentorship to help them refine their mixology skills.
- Carry out weekly follow-ups with students, providing constructive feedback and tracking their progress in both theory and practice.
- Develop and maintain connections with the beverage and hospitality industry to stay updated on trends, best practices, and potential job opportunities for students
Who you are?
- You have a diploma from a hospitality school, such as a specialized mixology certification, Brevet Federal, BTS in Hôtellerie-Restauration, or a diploma judged equivalent.
- You have at least 5 to 7 years of experience in the mixology field, ideally in renowned establishments, with deep expertise in cocktail creation, bar management, and customer service.
- You have excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.
- You have experience in or an interest in teaching, with the ability to share your knowledge and passion for mixology with students from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
- You are eager to pass on your professional experiences, insights, and techniques to aspiring mixologists and bartenders.
- You possess strong anticipatory skills, are autonomous, and have a creative approach to problem-solving in a dynamic bar environment.
- You are fluent in English.
