We are looking for an Electrical and Instrument Engineer to help us continue working towards creating a sustainable circular economy for plastics!
- Designing, implementing, maintaining and improving electrical products and systems.
- Preparing detailed E&I design deliverables e.g., circuit and schematic diagrams, control panel layouts, MCC layouts, cable routes etc.
- Supervising the E&I project installation phase, testing, commissioning work and assist in start-up of systems including instrumentation configuration and set up validation, troubleshooting of electrical, and software Issues.
- Ensuring that electrical, instrument and control schemes operate within the framework of national and company standards namely DSEAR and ATEX legislation.
- Preparation of punch list to ensure that the contractor rectifies all items before client final commissioning and client acceptance.
- Providing technical assistance to maintenance instrument technician/electricians.
- BSc/BEng degree in Electrical Engineering or Technical Trade equivalent.
- 5+ years of work experience in an industrial environment, or a solid foundation in the technology sector.
- Hands on experience with industrial electrical and automation especially process control instrumentation.
- Experience in commissioning and start-up of plants and production lines.
- Experience in ATEX instrumentation is a plus.
- Work to deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
- Ability to work cooperatively and supportively with a broad range of individuals with different levels of education and experience.
- Be fluent in English and have an intermediate knowledge of French.
- Have a Swiss working permit or be eligible to work in Switzerland.
