Position:
Joining the Neuchâtel Accounts Receivable/Billing team of 3, working closely with the other AR team in London and also collaborating with the other accounting teams globally for AP and General Ledger etc. You will report to the Financial Accounting Manager who is also based in Neuchâtel.
Responsibilities:
- Process daily cash receipts and bank reconciliations
- Prepare and manage Quarterly, Annual and ad hoc client billing
- Maintain sales ledger and revenue schedule for Group-wide legal entities
- Issue and send out invoices/credit notes for Group wide legal entities to relevant Managers
- Maintain, set up, close down Client fee profiles in the accounting system
- Act as the billing/invoicing contact for both internal and external auditors
- Assist with the Accounts Receivable Cash Forecast
- Analyse transactions in order to produce VAT returns
- Reconcile income for Group wide legal entities
- Respond proactively to queries from the business
- Ad hoc tasks as assigned to you by the Accounts Receivables Manager
Profile:
- Maturité Gymnasiale, Maturé professionnelle de commerce, Brevet, HEG or equivalent (e.g apprenticeship in accounting or a commercial diploma)
- 1 to 3 years+ of experience in a similar position with strong accounting knowledge
- Attention to detail and able to meet deadlines and work at a fast pace, under pressure
- Power BI or similar systems experience to build reports from large amounts of data preferred
- Good numerical skills and accuracy
- Excellent knowledge of IT systems, particularly Excel as well as Accounting softwares
- Integrity and responsibility
- A pro-active team player who is solution-oriented and happy to go the extra mile and work towards goals
- Excellent knowledge of English language and French (both a must)
- Already living and working in the Neuchâtel region a must, or happy to travel daily to this office (occasional remote working could be possible)
