The Grants Administrator will oversee the administrative management, reporting, and payment of grants, ensuring that all processes, documents, and procedures are executed efficiently, professionally, and on schedule, adhering to best practices.
Full time role for 7 months.
Our client is a private foundation.
Missions
- Prepare payments for grants and offices, completing necessary checklists.
- Draft grant letters, ensuring all required documentation is included and checklists are completed.
- Process staff and Trustee discretionary grants.
- Respond to inquiries and support requests from staff and Trustees.
- Perform reconciliations and generate reports.
- Manage filing and document administration.
- Produce support letters and documentation as needed.
- Identify and escalate situations requiring further consideration or approvals.
- Conduct checks and complete checklists.
- Assist with other administrative tasks as requested by the Head of Grant Administration and Treasury or the Director of Operations.
Profil du candidat
- University degree or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of five years of relevant administrative experience.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Experience with CRM, database, and grant management software is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of banking processes and international payments is highly desirable.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Proficient in written and oral communication.
- Advanced skills in MS Office.
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks seamlessly.
- Ability to work independently and as a resourceful team player under pressure and within deadlines.
- Positive attitude and professional demeanor.
- Experience in foundations, not-for-profit organizations, or the private sector is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in English is required; additional languages are an asset.
