The Haute école de gestion Arc (HEG Arc) provides education to over 1,800 students across its Neuchâtel and Delémont campuses. With continued growth in student numbers and educational offerings, the Institute of Digitalisation des Organisations (IDO) in Neuchâtel is seeking to expand its team and is looking for :
Your Profile
· You have recently obtained a Master's degree in information systems or related disciplines ;
· You have a particular interest in several of the following topics : digital health, patient empowerment, human-computer interaction, nudging, gamification ;
· You have a passion for research ;
· You are curious and creative by nature ;
· You demonstrate independence and initiative ;
· You have a good command of written and spoken English ;
· You are keen to join a multidisciplinary team that includes members from universities, colleges and teaching hospitals.
Your Future Role
As part of a "Health and Well-being" research project funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF), you will be committed to achieve a PhD thesis in the field of information systems. The PhD will be co-supervised by Alessio De Santo, Professor of information systems at HEG Arc and Adrian Holzer, Professor of information systems at the University of Neuchâtel.
Your main activities will involve :
· Design, develop and evaluate new interaction approaches involving digital support for parents of premature infants in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) at Geneva University Hospitals (HUG) ;
· Contribute to writing research protocols for clinical testing and assist in the supervision of a randomised controlled trial (RCT) ;
· Analyse data to identify factors influencing long-term engagement, exploring psychological and behavioural mechanisms ;
· Writing scientific articles and preparing reports ;
· Participate in teaching activities (Bachelor level), conducted in French.
