Julius Baer is a multinational company present in more than 50 locations in over 25 countries. The role will be in the Deferred and Cross-Border Compensation (DCC) team, which is part of the Group’s Reward and Performance management department. DCC is responsible for delivering specialised advice on deferred compensation, global mobility and business travel compliance topics.
IHRE AUFGABEN
- Strong initial focus on business travel compliance, serving as the key contact on the DCC team in ensuring compliance with our internal stakeholders and external partners for a global business traveler population (work permit, social security coverage, registration, personal income tax, etc.)
- Assist in creation or improvement of administrative and governance processes around business travel compliance with coordination between stakeholders (e.g. traveler, internal IT tool owners, local HR, and external service provider)
- Manage cases within the business travel compliance context and respond to ad-hoc requests from various stakeholders (data collection/validation, coordination, communication, etc.)
- Support on Global Mobility topics, including: developing and implementing international assignments (e.g. budgeting, contracting, renewals)
- Monitor and report overall business travel statistics
- Carry out IT tool testing, report IT bugs and define business/technical requirements
- Assist in the administration of the Group’s Deferred Compensation programmes (grants, vestings, forfeitures, payroll communication)
- Support in various other administrative team tasks (e.g. invoicing, preparing presentations, filling in forms, etc.)
YOUR PROFILE
- Bachelor degree or completed commercial education with professional experience
- 2-3 years experience in Global Mobility, Payroll, HR, Compliance and/or Advisory within a global context
- Prior experience in IT testing, bug fixing, and/or in a business analyst role
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work independently and in a confidential manner
- Sound organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
- Strong MS Office skills, specifically in Excel
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Fluency in English is required, German is an advantage
- Team player, persistent, diligent and reliable person with a growth mindset
- Interest in working in a fast-paced international environment
