What you'll be doing here
- You will coordinate and manage a sub-project in the SNSF research project "Forming Culture: Value-driven Assessment and Transformation to achieve Baukultur in a new Participatory Approach" (part of NRP 81 Baukultur)
- You will research innovative participatory methods (based on the technique of cultural probes) and develop concrete instruments for the sustainable transformation of Baukultur
- You will coordinate cooperation within the framework of the research programme, with the practice partners and other stakeholders
- You will prepare and publish research results for experts and for the general public and take on organisational and administrative tasks
- The interviews will take place on March 7, 2025 in Bern
What you'll bring with you
- PhD in spatial sociology, architectural sociology, social design, human geography or a related field
- Knowledge of processes and roles in the field of Baukultur and experience with design research methods, including participatory design, qualitative and ethnographic methods
- Experience in inter- and transdisciplinary project work and a high degree of independence
- Strong organisational skills as well as the ability to work in a team, motivation and commitment
- Excellent knowledge of English, German and French
