Job Summary:
The IT Systems Analyst will work with the Local, Regional, and Global IT Groups to support the lifecycle of local endpoints, accessories, and other IT/Office equipment, including the handling of onboarding/offboard all users requests. This position will focus on local operations and plant capabilities.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of IT principles and be able to effectively apply industry best practices to the array of legacy and modern operational technology architectures and technologies.
This role will collaborate effectively on solutions and priorities by working closely with peers across the global IT organization in infrastructure, cybersecurity, and applications, and operational business partners.
Responsibilities:
Follow all plant policies and practices to ensure safety, quality, and cost objectives are met
Ensure good housekeeping of all work areas
Accurately complete all paperwork and data entry to support job tasks
Continuously monitor technology with minimal guidance and provide stable/reliable support in the daily operation of technology systems.
Analyzes complex business needs presented by the user community and/or clients and recommends technical solutions.
Monitor trends of systems and plan work with leadership to expand needs or develop enhancements to achieve or exceed business goals
Participate in planning processes and work in a team environment for all projects and modifications.
Ensure continuous alignment with business requirements and successful project rollout at the facility
Collaborate closely with Local business, Industrial IT, Engineering, External IT teams, and other operational teams to achieve success in a cross functional environment.
Work in a team environment to design, develop and support all endpoints such as Handheld RFID and Barcode Scanners, Cameras, Desktop/Laptops, Servers, Printers, and Networks.
Identify/communicate continuous improvement opportunities
Perform other tasks as assigned by management
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science, or equivalent degree is preferred
Good communication skills and some experience with presenting to a team or group.
Ability to work effectively to perform in a team-oriented, manufacturing environment
Pragmatism to analyze and manage incidents/problems and develop solutions to resolve them
Act as change agent and to facilitate continuous improvement
Must be able to complete and pass a pre-employment examination, background check, and drug screen
Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
Ability to lift 50 pounds
About Constellium Muscle Shoals:
Constellium Muscle Shoals is a major aluminum sheet supplier for the packaging and automotive markets. The plant has ~1,200 employees and more than 100 acres under room, including five casting units, hot and cold rolling mills, and a slitting and finishing center. Muscle Shoals produces aluminum sheet for use in all three components of beverage cans (body stock, coated end stock, tab stock) and can produce over 1 billion pounds per year of finished aluminum coils. The plant also produces aluminum automotive coils to be processed at our CALP line in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Muscle Shoals’ world-class recycling center can recycle the equivalent of 20 billion aluminum cans per year.
