Description
The Senior Accountant will play a crucial role in managing the firm's financial records and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial statements. Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable
- Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Conducting detailed financial analysis and forecasting to support strategic decision-making
- Ensuring compliance with local and international accounting regulations and standards
- Collaborating with internal and external auditors during audits
- Implementing and maintaining robust internal controls to safeguard financial assets
- Assisting in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures
Profile
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in accounting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and MS Office Suite
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
