As part of a highly skilled team, you will be responsible for software specification, testing, and documentation.
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in both manual and automated testing within mission-critical software environments.
Prior experience in the Air Traffic Management domain or any other safety-critical sector is essential.
Contract : first 8 months as a consultant then direct hiring by the client

Description
- Develop and maintain application documentation, including system and software-level requirements and test cases.
- Review specifications and ensure test traceability.
- Execute application testing, including test plan creation and reporting.
- Identify, analyze, and document issues in JIRA.
- Maintain and update the Test Results Management tool.
- Conduct formal system tests, such as Factory Acceptance Tests (F.A.T) and Site Acceptance Tests (S.A.T.).
- Investigate defects and incidents to determine their root causes.
- Provide third-level maintenance support, collaborating with both engineering teams and customers.
- Potential contribution to development activities as needed.
Profile
- At least 5 years of experience in software engineering, preferably in air traffic control or another real-time, safety-critical environment.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate end-user needs into software requirements and test cases.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Detail-oriented and motivated to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written); knowledge of French or German is a plus.
- Familiarity with agile or scaled agile methodologies is preferred.
- Experience with industry standards such as ED153, ED109, or ED12B/C is a strong advantage.
- Proficiency with tools like IBM Rational DOORS or Siemens Polarion is beneficial.
- Experience with test automation is a plus.
- ATSEP certification is a plus.
- The candidate has to be eligible to work in Switzerland (UE or Swiss citizenship mandatory)
