As a member of the eCoE you will bring leadership and a strong technical expertise together with the ability to work in a self-aligning team with minimal hierarchy. You will be a catalyst for the Finance transformation and work effectively as an influencer, and leaning in as coach and catalyst to the Finance network as needed. You have a passion to pilot new approaches and constructively challenge the status quo. You can tolerate ambiguity.
In this role, you will join the FIRE (Finance Insights & Reporting for the Enterprise) OBC (outcome-based community) with focus on Corporate Income Tax Controlling. Your role will primarily focus on overseeing IFRS tax accounting and reporting across the Group (in the context of the consolidated Group financials), ensuring compliance with IFRS standards (specifically IAS12). You will analyse and validate tax positions and effective tax rates, prepare reports for senior leadership and actively participate in review meetings.
Collaborating closely with Group Tax, you will contribute to tax outlooks, forecasting, and strategic planning. You will prepare the Tax Note and related disclosures for Half Year and Annual Reports, supporting both external and internal audits during control testing. The role also involves implementing tax accounting changes and adapting to new reporting and compliance requirements. Additionally, you will provide expertise on ad hoc tax accounting and reporting matters, including M&A transactions, divestments, equity compensation plans, to name a few. This is a position that requires strong technical skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to navigate complex topics.

To be effective and successful in this new role you possess the following skills and experiences:

3-5 years experience in tax, accounting, preferably in a large public accounting firm or multi-national corporate environment

A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance is required, and an ACCA/CPA or other relevant professional qualification would be preferred

Strong understanding of IFRS (with a special focus on IAS12), being familiar with BEPS Pillar 2 would be advantageous

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced, informal, often ambiguous and rapidly changing environment

Ability to extract, analyse and review data and make appropriate recommendations

Experience with internal controls and external audit is preferred

Detail-oriented individual who is self-motivated and takes ownership

Ability to work independently and lead as well as part of a team and partner well with people at all levels within an organisation

Ability to navigate through a complex, broad and diverse organisation

Ability to deal with multiple priorities and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders
