Job Description
As a key resource of the Learning & Development team, the Junior Talent Development Specialist will provide valuable support on all key global development activities: young talent development programmes (graduates and apprentices), training, succession planning, etc.
The resource will interact with all HR functional areas and expected to become a reference person within the HR department on the assigned activities.
Main responsibilities
- Support the design, development and implementation of global talent development processes (including succession planning, talent management, etc.)
- Contribute to the assessment of development needs and provide recommendations to ensure continuous improvement in people development by integrating industry talent trends and best practices
- Ensure the coordination of EFG Young Talent Development Programmes (in Switzerland and abroad), from sourcing and hiring to programme completion
- Assist in managing relationship with internal and external stakeholder/partners
- Analyse data reports, feedback and other HR metrics
The Junior Talent Development Specialist will report to the Head of Talent Development and will work closely with line managers, HR Business Partners and local HR units to assess, identify and fulfil our employees development needs.
Skills and Experience
- University degree, preferably in human resources, organizational development, economics or related field
- Minimum 2-3 years of relevant work experience in talent development field within structured HR departments of international companies
- People and client oriented with a real passion for people development and delivering outstanding customer service
- International mindset and multicultural experience
- Proactive and positive attitude with relentless energy and intellectual curiosity
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills; experience of working with multiple stakeholders across functions and countries
- Strong communication skills: able to thoughtfully structure key messages and information with clarity and impact
- Strong organizational skills: able to work independently, effectively handling multiple priorities and delivering in a dynamic and demanding environment
- Excellent English skills (mandatory) and fluent in at least two languages among Italian, French and German
- Solid skills in MS Office programs
