For our SPR & Ligand Binding team, we are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic person to temporarily join us for an
Internship in SPR & Ligand Binding 100%,
Temporary for 6 months
In this position, we offer insights into the aspects of discovery and characterization of biotherapeutics in a dynamic team within the biotech company. You will be working on the design, development and functional testing of assays (e.g. SPR, ELISA) for the characterization of binding properties of innovative antibody-based therapeutics.
Your responsibilities:
Determine binding affinities and kinetics (e.g. SPR) of antibodies, antibody fragments and multi-specific antibody-based proteins to their targets
Develop assays to measure binding affinity and kinetics (SPR and ELISA)
Organize and report your data in written and oral presentations at different levels
We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is keen in developing and learning new techniques, and who has a very accurate working style.
Ideal candidates will have:
Apprenticeship as laboratory technician, and/or BSc/MSc, in biology or related fields
Highly motivated in learning new techniques and improving scientific skills
Highly accurate and team-oriented working style paired with a high sense of quality and the ability to work independently on diverse challenges
Hands-on experience in handling analytical protein samples or conducting SPR-based kinetic measurements will be considered as beneficial
Experience with the characterization of proteins in ELISA is beneficial
Good computer (Windows, MS Office) and communication skills
Sound oral and written English
