A public sector institution in Switzerland, within the IT and Digital Services domain, is currently looking for a Senior Project Manager with expertise in Information Security. The person in this role will manage and drive strategic projects related to security compliance, secure solution development, and access control measures.
Requirements – Education and Certifications:
? Master’s degree in Information Systems or equivalent
? Certified in project or program management (HERMES, PMI, IPMA, or equivalent)
Key Competencies:
? Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing IT projects focused on Information Security and/or Data Protection
? Strong understanding of risks and challenges related to data security
? Solid knowledge of project tracking tools and methodologies
? Proven experience leading multiple simultaneous IT projects (preferably using HERMES)
Preferred Skills:
? Strong understanding of technical architecture and security concepts
? Knowledge of security-related topics: cryptographic protocols, access management, compliance
frameworks, etc.
? Experience working with engineering teams, internal stakeholders, and senior management
? Risk management expertise
? Familiarity with ITIL v3 or v4 (certification is a plus)
Main Responsibilities:
? Lead and manage IT security-related projects (e.g., secure remote access, access rights
compliance)
? Conduct technical assessments and propose action plans to ensure alignment with internal
security standards
? Support internal teams during the implementation of key security initiatives
? Communicate effectively with stakeholders and project sponsors
? Track and report on quality, performance indicators, and compliance efforts
