Your Mission:
You collaborate on and help manage multiple science and product development projects in the interdisciplinary field of food (bio)technology and process engineering
You actively contribute to scientific projects in the field of food biotech
You continuously challenge the status quo to optimize scientific practices
You run experiments in the lab and gather data on the factory floor and in the pilot plant
You support the Biotech team in maintaining the lab and pilot plant
You assist in measuring samples and evaluating trials
You actively scout and source the raw materials of the future for plant-based foods
You:
Hold a degree in food science, biology, microbiology, or biotechnology
Have ideally gained 6–12 months of work experience through internship
Know basic microbiological methods and confidently apply them in a lab setting
Are passionate about plant-based meat alternatives and enjoy running small food projects in your kitchen
Work independently, think proactively, and thrive in a team environment
Communicate fluently in English, both written and spoken
Integrate scientific literature into your daily work and adapt or implement methods accordingly
Are available for a full-time internship for 6 months
Are allowed to work in Switzerland (valid work permit required)
