Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS)professionals provide advisory services to a wide range of clients across different industries covering a broad spectrum of services in finance function transformation, performance management, consolidated reporting, accounting excellence, treasury, optimization of financial processes and internal control, and accounting assistance for transactions (acquisition, carve out, IPO, refinancing, etc.).

Your key responsibilities
- Support our clients in implementing new accounting standards, adapting and transforming their Finance function, reporting processes and operating model - striking an optimal balance between effectiveness, efficiency and control
- Collaborate with the EY FAAS leadership in Switzerland to develop and execute on strategies for individual clients to satisfy high client expectations
- Work with specialists from different departments and subject matter experts in providing an integrated service delivery model across functions in an international team to meet our clients’ high expectations
- Ensure everyone on the team fully understands the client's business needs and expectations to develop client deliverables that are client-focused, clear, accurate and well-presented
- Ensure work is delivered in a timely manner and in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Engage and develop new opportunities related to new FAAS projects, solutions, and relationships
Skills and attributes for success
To qualify for the role you must have
- Bachelor or Master degree, complemented with a further relevant professional education (e.g. Swiss Certified Accountant, CPA, or ACCA)
- 6 - 8years of relevant experience in Audit and/or Consulting – incl. expertisein latest IFRS developments
- Proactive, flexible and team-oriented from concept and design through to implementation of projects. You have an intellectual curiosity and you are willing to go “the extra mile”
- Ability to leverage your relevant external network and build your internal networks in a fast-paced and international environment investing in sustainable relationships
- English and French are a prerequisite
