As a Sales Controller & BU Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing valuable insights and robust support for fact-based decision-making processes. Your expertise in the current business environment and specialist financial knowledge will be instrumental in challenging both new strategies and the status quo.

A Day in the Life of a Sales Controller & BU Specialist

  • As Sales Controller:
    .
    • Participate in developing customer and channel strategies and ensure alignment with the commercial plan
    • Ensure accuracy of Actuals by overseeing timely and accurate period-end close, specifically regarding trade spends
    • Record accruals accurately, collaborating with Sales for pre-close efforts, and monitor progress to close gaps while adhering to financial policies and standards
    • Provide reconciliations between P&L, Trade Reports, and Balance sheet for comprehensive financial analysis
    • Monitor Sales Force MOGEs, advise on resource planning, and ensure compliance with internal controls and trade spend practices

  • As Business Controlling Specialist:
    .
    • Support the execution of the business plan and ensure alignment with the overall strategy
    • Contribute to Scenario Planning and Dynamic Forecast preparation within Monthly Business Planning
    • Analyze and report on cost and top-line components to support performance management of the category
    • Assist in resource allocation optimization and portfolio management for business innovation and renovation
    • Provide financial perspective and analysis for new business initiatives, ensuring understanding of the value creation framework among non-finance peers

What will make you successful

  • Established experience in Finance/Controlling function
  • Degree in Business or Finance
  • Previous experience in the Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry
  • Experience working within a network organization, including collaboration with internal /external providers
  • Good organizational and planning skills
  • Proficiency in French, English, German as a plus
