Tasks and job requirements

  • preparation of experiment scenario and documentation for on orbit payloads
  • development of Astronaut instructions based on experiment documentation
  • planning and conduction of ground test to evaluate the experiment scenario
  • coordination of interdisciplinary teams
  • support of Astronaut training
  • support to planning and execution of on orbit operations
  • participation in simulations to achieve ESA certification
  • support in research and development

Your profile

  • Master's degree or higher in Engineering (Medical-, Electrical- or Mechanical Engineering) or Physics
  • professional experience is desired
  • willingness to travel (short trips, mostly within Europe)
  • fluency in English
  • weekend duties will be required occasionally
  • coordination and planning skills
  • team player with excellent communication skills
  • motivation to learn new things and ability to think outside of the box
