Senior Regional HR Specialist

We are seeking a Senior Regional HR Specialist to contribute to our employee experience by providing regional expertise while supporting employee relations, performance management and coaching & influencing leaders.
What you'll do:
- Employee Relations, including investigations and performance case management, understanding of local employment law practices and labor relations requirements
- Acts as the central point of contact for employee relation issues for assigned business areas; ensures individual employee problems are heard, issues are addressed, and employees are treated fairly.
- Delivers internal training programs, understanding the impact of development programs on the individual and organization’s performance.
- Coaches leaders on performance management topics and driving performance excellence across their teams.
- Understands key performance indicators related to own work and the importance of metrics in defining success (e.g., efficiency and effectiveness)
- Assist with designing, implementing and administering process, programmatic or system solutions.
- Consistently respond to stakeholder requests in an accurate, timely and professional manner.
- Understand the HR technical area and their application within the company, and develop familiarity with relevant internal policies and procedure.
- Understand employee needs, and begins to develop the skills necessary to help employees understand business challenges.
- Continues building understanding the organization's processes, objectives and challenges and their impact on the business.
- Demonstrates awareness of the policies, practices, trends and information that impact the organization and its employee.
- Keeps current on laws, controls and regulatory requirements framework and structure.
- For relevant geographies, maintains a good relationship with labor organizers and ensures that collective agreements comply with relevant labor legislation.
- Reviews overarching project timeline and develops a schedule of tasks to achieve project milestones.
- Keeps relevant stakeholders informed of progress toward or changes to task timing that impacts the project schedule.
Who you are:
- Minimum 5 years Human Resources experience, or an equivalent combination of advanced training and experience in a constantly evolving environment.
- Employee Relations experience, including investigations and performance case management, understanding of local employment law practices and labor relations requirements
- Effective Leader coaching and influencing skills
- Understanding of metric reporting and basic trend analysis
- Project management skills
- Facilitation and presentation skills
- Bachelor's or Master's in Human Resources or a related field; or equivalent related professional experience
The total cash range for this position in Springfield is $61,500.00 to $86,000.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $98,500.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.
Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
