Our Digital Assurance and Transparency practice (DAT) is at the forefront of innovation, supporting both delivery of quality, tech-enabled solutions focused on trust and transparency. Helping clients to solve business, tech, governance and environmental issues that are top of mind for them. To do this, you'll work closely with clients and our external financial audit teams to understand the systems and technologies our clients use and how they can mitigate risk.
Your Impact
- Lead and oversee Technology Audit Engagements: Take charge of managing and delivering a diverse portfolio of technology audit projects, encompassing IT general controls (ITGC), business processes, application controls, and IT security reviews. Ensure that audits are conducted within the designated timeframe, adhere to the defined scope, and comply with relevant standards such as SOX, NIST, ISO, and COBIT.
- Risk Assessment & Control Evaluation: Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and weaknesses in technology systems and controls. Develop and implement strategies to mitigate these risks, providing recommendations and guidance to clients on enhancing their IT security posture.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with senior client stakeholders, advising them on technology risk management, internal controls, cybersecurity, and compliance matters. Communicate, in an effective manner, audit findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Team Leadership & Development: As a leader, you will have the opportunity to lead and mentor a team of talented Technology auditors. Your role will involve providing guidance, feedback, and training to foster their professional growth and development. By sharing your expertise and insights, you will empower your team members to excel in their roles. By fostering open communication and providing constructive feedback, you will inspire your team members to continuously improve and strive for excellence.
- Project Management: Successfully manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure the smooth execution of Technology audits. Maintain high standards of quality and service throughout the project lifecycle. Proactively identify and overcome any potential obstacles to ensure timely project completion.
- Regulatory Compliance & Standards: Stay current with emerging trends in AI, IT governance, cybersecurity, cloud, sustainability and regulatory requirements to provide clients with up-dot-date and relevant advice. Ensure audits comply with internal policies, industry regulations, and professional standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the continuous enhancements of audit methodologies, processes, and tools aiming to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Technology audit function.

Your Skill Set
- Bachelor or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional Certifications: One or more of the following certifications is preferred (CISA, CISM, CRISC, CPA, CIA) or equivalent is a plus.
- 4 to 6 years of experience in Information Systems audit, internal audit, or Technology risk management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. A previous experience in a Big 4 or large professional services firm is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of IT governance frameworks, risk management, IT control frameworks (e.g., COBIT, ITIL), and cybersecurity principles.
- Strong knowledge of Technology in general, including information systems, networks, infrastructure, emerging technologies such as AI, cloud environments, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), and database management.
- Experience with cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) and data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and teams.
