Job Description
- Develop ZEISS Sports Optics product sales by driving the whole funnel: from nurturing the Dealers by working closely with decision-makers and making adequate commercial offers.
- Extend Sports Optics dealers and distribution in width and depth. Including pitching sales and products to new and existing clients.
- Plan and execute commercial and marketing activities that will strengthen brand and product perception, with the target to sustain and increase ZEISS market presence within the Sports Optics market.
- Execute launches, campaigns & promotions according to local Sales & Marketing plans/ guidelines.
- Build trade advocacy through technical product training & events.
- Support Marketing with Trade fairs, events, and ZEISS ambassadors.
- Attending conferences and events to build relationships with industry partners and staying up to date with new trends.
- Possessing a strong understanding of the company’s products, the competition in the industry and positioning
- Reaching the targets and goals set for your area.
Job Requirements
Education & Experience
- Grade 12
- Minimum 1 year sales experience
- Code B drivers’ licence.
- Own transport
Skills
- Strong knowledge of the Sport Optics market and applications.
- Good understanding of the decision chain: users, influencers, decision-makers, and customers.
- A good knowledge of the Sports Optics retail channel coming with a strong industry network.
Sales experience
- Ability to explain and demo confidently both in person and to audiences.
- Very good networker that understands how to use relationships to generate business.
- Willingness to solve customer issues and help users realise their ambitions.
- A basic knowledge of CRM and Microsoft office.
Personal attributes
- Ability to effectively communicate and engage with a range of stakeholders.
- Proficient in analytical and strategic thinking with the willingness to actively develop new ideas to grow the business.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage workload and prioritize their allocated customer call base.
- Self-Motivated and Target oriented
- Accountable (strong follow-thru, ownership of tasks and solutions)
- Well organized
