We are seeking an IT Support Specialist to manage and support end-user IT environments, including hardware, software, and business applications, in a banking context. The role involves incident management, system deployment, identity and access management, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, requiring strong technical expertise and fluency in French and English.
Our client is a private bank located in Geneva. It's a permanent position and it's On-site Support.
Description
Provide support and management of the end-user IT environment, including:
- Productivity Tools: Microsoft 365, Adobe Acrobat
- Content Management Systems: Microsoft SharePoint
- Business Applications: Core Banking System (S2I), Bloomberg, Refinitiv
- Communication Systems: Cisco (video conferencing, IP telephony, WebEx)
- Operating Systems: Windows 10/11
- Hardware: Laptops, desktops, printers, peripherals, and mobile devices

Incident and Request Management (40%)
- Identify, log, categorize, and prioritize incidents and requests.
- Investigate and resolve issues efficiently; escalate unresolved cases when necessary.
- Document resolutions and contribute to improving incident management procedures.

End-User Systems Management (35%)
- Deploy and install hardware and software, ensuring a smooth handover to users.
- Manage the equipment lifecycle from procurement to disposal.
- Maintain an up-to-date asset register and support the development of installation standards.

Identity and Access Management (15%)
- Create, modify, and deactivate user accounts while adhering to security policies.
- Manage user access rights based on roles and responsibilities.
- Perform regular audits to ensure compliance and address unauthorized access.

Compliance (10%)
- Adhere to Swiss regulatory and bank compliance rules, including cross-border regulations.
- Identify, escalate, and resolve risks related to conduct, compliance, or security.
Profile
- Education: Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- Experience: 3-5 years in a similar role. ITIL v3/v4 certification is an asset.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong expertise in Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in mobile device management (e.g., JAMF) and hardware/software lifecycle management.
- Knowledge of Active Directory, SharePoint, and ticketing systems.
- Basic understanding of IP telephony and video conferencing solutions.
- Languages: Fluent in French and English.
- Personal Attributes: Strong organizational and communication skills, team player, and problem-solving mindset.
