Installation Technician I - Central (Travel opportunity!)

Your Tasks

As an Installation Technician I you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of Belimed products while providing excellent service to customers.

This could be a great fit if you possess strong mechanical aptitude and excellent customer service skills! You may have experience as a/an: Automotive Mechanic, Diesel Mechanic, HVAC Technician, Electronics Technician, Machinist’s Mate, Boiler Technician, Generator Technician, Maintenance Technician, Appliance or Equipment Repair Technician, Aviation Structural Mechanic, etc.

This position is a remote, home-based position traveling within the Central US.

This position will require an estimated 75%-95% of travel away from home for up to 4 weeks at a time. Flexibility to travel nationwide during the training period is also required.

How you will impact Belimed and our clients

Performs installation of all Belimed projects (i.e. limited to un-crating, leveling, setting product in place, testing unit, etc.)

Verifies that equipment delivered to the Customer site matches the order

Ensures installation site is clean and neat at the end of each day

Utilizes customer protocols when entering and exiting facilities

Completes service documentation associated with installation activity

What you need to succeed

High school diploma/GED or equivalent

Experience in the use of tools, power tools, and diagnostic / configuration equipment in a technical role

Basic knowledge of steam, water, and pneumatic process controls

Aptitude to quickly learn and apply all relevant skills, knowledge, and abilities

Ability to properly trouble-shoot, diagnose, repair and document product/system issues

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Ability to lift up to 100 pounds, bend, squat, sit, stand, twist, etc.

Ability to travel overnight approximately 75-95% of the time and for periods up to 4 weeks

Flexibility of scheduling to accommodate customer needs

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel / Sheets, etc)
