Description
Accounting & Financial Statements:
Manage the accounting of complex entities, ensuring compliance with IFRS, Swiss GAAP, and internal policies.
Prepare financial statements in accordance with IFRS, Swiss statutory requirements, and for internal management reporting.
Transactions & Payments:
- Oversee day-to-day transactions, including invoices and cash transactions, ensuring timely processing and payment requests.
- Record and reconcile bank balances, including intercompany interest calculations and settlements.
- Monitor and follow up on overdue invoices to maintain cash flow.
Reconciliations & Analysis:
- Conduct monthly intercompany reconciliations.
- Perform analytical reviews of balance sheet and P&L accounts.
Closings & Audits:
- Support monthly and year-end closings.
- Assist in preparation for annual audits, ensuring readiness and compliance.
Collaboration & Process Improvement:
- Collaborate with tax teams to align accounting with tax-related matters.
- Identify and implement improvements in accounting processes and controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Financial Oversight:
- Maintain a global view of financial data, supporting the group's monthly consolidation efforts.
