The Position
The Hardware Automation and Legacy Team in Rotkreuz develops mechatronic System Components for Lab Automation Solutions and ensures product delivery for our legacy products. The Department is part of the Corelab Network, a critical contributor and enabler of our divisional aspiration to realize Integrated Solutions, and to provide integrated diagnostics information anywhere, anytime.
THE OPPORTUNITY
As Team Leader, you are leading engineers in the disciplines Mechanics, Electronics and Realtime Software.The team comprises of internal FTEs and external contractors.

Line management: Act as a servant leader, providing continuous coaching and performance feedback to the team, evaluating overall team and individual performance, delivering performance reviews in collaboration with project management, communicating and ensuring understanding of goals, and engaging with other line managers and Team Leaders in the Automation Area.

Project Management: Supporting the Team as a Technical Project Leader Role within the Automation Projects or/and Custom Biotechnology

Capability Management: Actively managing team members' capabilities in collaboration with the capability lead, project management, and other line managers within the same group, creating knowledge and standards, and providing coaching and training to ensure quality standards for all processes and tools.

WHO YOU ARE

You have a University degree in electrical or mechanical Engineering and a proven Track Record in Automation Engineering, preferably in the field of Lab Automation / Invitro-Diagnostics (IVD)

Highly motivated People Leader with an ability to lead by influence, proven effectiveness, drive decisions and account for results; ability to resolve conflicts and adapt to change, effective to get results

Good analytical thinking, a structured, reliable working manner, ability to prioritize, plan and manage multiple tasks and to instil a sense of urgency in teams

Motivated and proactive team player with good networking skills; Strong team and customer orientation in a multicultural environment

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English
