Summary
The purpose of the Senior Manager, Supply Planning BPE is to accelerate Global and Regional supply planning implementation, and continuous improvement across business segments in Baxter. The initiatives include, but are not limited to, Building Global Capabilities through network of SMEs, Driving Best Practices, Building Best in Class Processes and Stakeholder Engagement.
The role holder will proactively engage and inspire all Supply Planning stakeholders including commercial, marketing, R&D and finance stakeholders at local/regional/global settings, and close collaboration with Integrated Planning Central (IPC) teams of Process, Systems, Data and Analytics and Baxter business segments (MPT, Pharma & HS&T) & other functions, so that the role can identify opportunities for further improvement to accelerate Supply Planning Best practice adoption in Baxter.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Building Global Supply Planning Capabilities

Build & maintain Supply Planning Process knowledge base, including but not limited to supply assurance to support demand plan through balancing of capacity and materials for short-term and long-term; alignment of operational supply processes in manufacturing plants to meet financial forecast, rolling from factory level Operation plan signoff to Business Segment level Supply Review; product allocation during supply constraint; drive to improve overall supply network agility to response to customers’ needs in markets while maintaining optimal inventory to serve; systems (JDE/RR) parameters governance

Lead SME network and build subject matter knowledge for existing and onboard new team members

Identify opportunities for continuous process improvement across Business Segments.

Initiate projects to address opportunities for further improvement

Maintain regular program status reporting to Planning Central

Align Supply Planning Process initiatives across Planning Central teams of Process, Data, Systems and Analytics groups

Collect and report Supply review critical KPIs from Business Segments and continuously improve visualization and communication

Promote shared learning via common platforms. Gather, document, and share Best Practices and Learnings from internal and external sources

Execute milestones and agreed deliverables including research and analysis, reporting, and documentation as required
Driving Best Practices and Operationalizing Best In Class Processes across Business Segments

Deliver Supply Planning principles and standards to Business Segments through Supply Planning training, design workshops and continuous support

Provide Business Segments and Supply Planning SMEs with support to help develop, grow, and scale Demand Planning Best Practices, Best in Class Processes, and the best use of tools for continuous improvement
Stakeholder Engagement

Identify, engage and manage the collaboration of stakeholders across Business Segments (local, regional, global), Planning Central & Core teams & other functions from frontliners to Executive members to mobilize action and create impact

Identify opportunities for Supply Planning process improvement and development. Initiate and coordinate global teams to address common topics.
What qualifications/education we are looking for
-
Bachelor's degree required with 6+ years of demonstrated Global End-To-End Supply Chain experience; including at least 3 years experience developing Integrated Supply Chain processes. Medical devices industry experience preferred.

Demonstrated performance in leading S&OP or IBP transformation projects.

Implementation experience of IBP/S&OP software (SAP IBP, Kinaxis Rapid Response, Anaplan, Blue Yonder, and others).

Strong knowledge in end-to-end Demand planning and review processes including demand planning, supply planning.

Demonstrated performance in leading transformational initiatives and effective change management and in continuous improvement and/or agile implementation.

Demonstrated performance in knowledge transfer management and talent development.

Track record of driving results and facilitate fact-based decision-making.

Experience working at a global level and in a highly matrixed environment.

Excellent interpersonal skills.

Certification in Supply Chain preferred.

Proficient English is a must!
