Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and motivated Commis de Cuisine to join our kitchen team for the Winter 2024/2025 season. The ideal candidate will assist our chefs in delivering high-quality dishes, maintaining the highest standards of food preparation, and contributing to the overall success of our dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of meals as per the hotel’s menu and chef’s instructions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
- Ensure all food is stored and handled properly in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Support senior chefs in various tasks, including meal prep, plating, and quality control.
- Work in a fast-paced environment, especially during peak times, while maintaining a high standard of professionalism.
- Adhere to hotel and kitchen procedures regarding hygiene and safety.
Qualifications:
- Completed culinary training or relevant experience as a Commis de Cuisine is an advantage.
- A passion for the culinary arts with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and in a team.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Basic understanding of food hygiene and safety standards.
- German language skills are a plus; English is required.
