BAT BANGLADESH IS LOOKING FOR AN IDT CORPORATE MANAGER
SENIORITY LEVEL: Mid-senior Level
FUNCTION: Information & Digital Technology

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES
This role ensures seamless execution and integration of digital technology and strategy across business functions, aligning with global standards while addressing local requirements.
Reports to: Area Head of IDT
Reporting Level: Senior Level
Geographic Scope: Banglades
WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR
- Business:
Digital Technology & Strategy
- Propose, approve, and implement a comprehensive technological roadmap that aligns with and supports the overarching business strategy, ensuring that digital initiatives are fully integrated with organizational goals.
- Develop and lead both short-term and long-term digital technology strategies by aligning global standards with local market needs.
- Ensure a deep understanding of the enterprise architecture and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure adherence and conformance to these frameworks.
- Identify the role of technology in advancing business objectives by employing a variety of methods, including engaging and documenting stakeholder requirements, conducting feasibility studies, creating business models, preparing business cases, and performing usability analyses and evaluations.
- Provide subject matter expertise in core processes related to Finance, HR, and Fiscal operations, offering strategic insights, and ensuring alignment of digital solutions with business needs in these key areas.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of digital projects, contributing to data analytics and insights across various functions.
- Leverage knowledge of digital best practices and key performance indicators to enhance decision-making processes and project outcomes.
- Continuously seek and develop innovative ideas to enhance operational processes, improve efficiency, and drive organizational performance.
- Champion simplification and digitalization efforts to optimize business functions and provide thought leadership on emerging digital trends, recommending adoption.
Supplier Management
- Identify and partner with the right technology suppliers and specialists to increase digital footprint.
- Map portfolio of suppliers with the necessary capabilities to deliver the digital portfolio, according to BAT’s procurement & IDT standards.
Budget Management
- Plan, track and report on budget aligned with current planning and reporting structure.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Accountable for end-to-end delivery of the digital portfolio, guaranteeing accomplishment of goals, schedule, cost, resources, quality, and alignment with global and local structures.
- Effectively communicate status of the digital portfolio for top teams (i.e. Corporate and IDT)
- Regular review of agreed KPI’s including ROI, suggesting improvements, and seizing opportunities.
- People & Process Management:
- Lead projects teams and makes sure they stay productive by taking project issues off their hand (remove blockers and showstopper)
- Engage and motivate the team to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Manage performance, development, and career of the team.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Bachelor’s degree required and MBA preferred. Preferably with a degree in an IT-related discipline.
- Ability to interpret the business IT and functional strategies.
- Understand the operating model and implications certain actions in one area have on other functions.
- Ability to understand the external environment.
- Clear and compelling written and verbal communication skills.
