Global Sales Operations Manager
Global Sales Operations is responsible for ensuring all sales operations processes, roles and responsibilities are standardized and optimized across all sales organizations. This includes revenue forecasting, OSL forecasting, inventory management, order management and logistics. Global Sales Operations will work with internal stakeholders to optimize on time delivery and monthly revenue recognition.
MAIN ROLE AND ACTIVITIES
- Responsible to oversee and manage the effectiveness and efficiency of each local sales operation team to ensure assimilation of regional accounts (if applicable) or assigned customer accounts.
- Responsible for driving and publishing global monthly forecasting for discrete and consignment orders, revenue and consignment inventory development.
- Responsible for all global order management order to cash activities including order entry and invoicing activities.
- Responsible for on time delivery to customers and escalation management for factory representatives to reschedule critical deliveries based on customer escalations.
- Responsible to manage customer demand forecasts and open orders with sales account teams and global factories to ensure customer requirements are comprehended and can be met.
- Build management reporting package covering inventory level, order management and delivery analytics.
- Manage and forecast all regional inventories to ensure accurate inventory levels and associated KPI’s while maintaining continuity of supply for VAT’s customers.
- Responsible for leading internal and external customer operations escalations to drive action plans.
- Lead operations and logistics related projects domestically and internationally by working with the various stakeholder groups in the company.
- Manage preparations and presentations of customer executive presentations, summary reports, spreadsheets, charts and analysis of data from multiple sources for internal and external use
- Develop and mentor key talents in the Sales Operations and other departments, work to build and foster an environment of positive teamwork within the Sales Operations department and across all other functions in the organization.
- Responsible for all related work instructions and work processes (in relation and not limited to Supply Chain) for all local sales operations functions.
- Accountable for training all local finance and customer service teams to ensure they understand how to work with key customer portals and understand billing cycle timing.
- Accountable for all local regional inventories and customer consignment programs.
- Accountable for coverage of all Sales Operations and customer service team members
- Accountable to streamline global sales operations business processes and work to shorten the cash conversion cycle while maintaining accurate order management.
