Abbott Established Pharmaceutical Division (EPD) is looking for a
Senior Commercial Manager
for its global Pharma Division Headquarter based in Allschwil- Basel.
Primary Job Function:

The role supports the structuring, designing, diagnosing and roll out end-to-end topline and margin improvement initiatives across all functions in a given market
-
Support launch of new molecules in new biosimilar franchise, from defining processes, liaising with other departments and executing on EM-wide initiatives
Core Job Responsibilities:
-
The role will lead the EM BU internal and external cross-functional teams (comprising of internal or external resources) to assess optimal process and organizational design, and make recommendations around the structure, operating set-up and ultimate end-state, for both current and future biosimilars business

In addition, the team will lead capability building throughout the organization, in areas such as 1) change management, 2) problem solving, 3) critical thinking, 4) storytelling
Responsibilities include projects to:
-
Unlock topline growth and carry shared goals together with the GMs of the affiliates
-
Support efficiency improvement to increase margin and reinvest in strategic projects for EM BU
-
Build capability, enhance skills and drive culture of continuous improvement
-
Support affiliate transformations within commercial team covering a broad scope of strategic and operational activities

Manage launch execution process for biosimilars within EM, together with regions, affiliates and global teams

Identify BU leadership team members on changes arising out of key project recommendations, with sound logic and supporting insights

Assess what the BU needs to do differently, what capabilities this will require and how this compares with BU organizational capabilities today

Assess and challenge all departmental processes with an eye towards innovation and operational excellence
Minimum Education:
-
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, or a related field.

Advanced degree - Master's or MBA desired.
Minimum Experience/Training Required:
-
Prior experience in driving strategic projects and cross-functional teams is a must
-
Prior experience in emerging markets is a must
-
Experience launching pharmaceutical products, especially biologics, is highly preferable
-
Strong track record in working directly with C-suite level preferable
-
Experience leading complex change and transformation initiatives
-
Operational experience in affiliate-level organization highly regarded
-
Exposure to various parts of the organization in a variety of roles preferable
-
Strong communication skills required
-
Comfortable with complexity and uncertainty required
