To support our e-Mobility group, we are looking to join us in our new offices in Yverdon-les-Bains, Switzerland for an:
Purpose:
• Support Development and Application engineering teams with the design of electrical schematics for different projects.
• Provide ready to manufacture drawings for electrical harnesses.
• Validate produced harnesses internally and at vendor locations.
• Serve as user and possibly administrator for electrical component database.
• Provide electrical engineering expertise to the design and development teams.
Role & Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with application/ development engineers in the design of battery system electrical architecture.
• Primary responsibility for the design of detailed electrical drawings.
• Verify prototype harnesses are fit for purpose and meet requirements -Client requirement, Standards requirements.
• Select and propose new components, cables.
• Hands on work with mechanical designers and with vendors to fix details of harnesses – lengths, routing, fixing etc.
• Master and manage Electrical software – Component creating and management, database / libraries management etc. – currently Zuken E3, but may change.
• Assist with Improvement of designs and processes in production.
• Support Industrialization team for electrical design.
• Implement relevant drawing standards according to industry’s best practice.
• Validate electrical designs according to industrial standards and known best practice.
• Perform other job-related tasks as per business needs and as assigned by the manager within the employee’s capabilities and skills base.
Skills and Experience:
• Relevant technical education
• At least 5 years experience using Zuken E3 Electrical, Zuken E3 database is a big plus but knowledge with other similar electrical CAD applications will be considered
• Experience with low voltage circuits and standards <1.5 kV circuit design is a plus
• Knowledge of drive train components, power electronics.

Languages:
English fluent spoken and written.
French, German or other European languages are a bonus.
