Our vision for Medication Management Solutions at BD
With our technical capabilities, the Medication Management Solutions (MMS) team are able to manage multiple systems and our operational capabilities enable us to have medications available when and where needed, reducing inefficiency and waste for nursing and pharmacy teams.
About the role
As an Integration and Connectivity Solution Manager, you will work with Sales, Solutions, Marketing, Technical, and Clinical colleagues to ensure the best customer experience and develop deep and trusted relationships within the hospital environment.
The Integration & Connectivity Solution Manager is responsible for shaping BD MMS’ vision for Integrated solutions, driving relationships with Key IT vendors and taking the lead on BD MMS solutions' interoperability, integration, cloud hosting, and cyber security.
Main responsibilities will include:
- Shape the BD vision for our customers’ integrated solutions
- Responsibility for driving strategic relationships and roadmaps with IT vendors
- Drive the interoperability, integration, and lead on cyber security of BD MMS solutions.
- Remain abreast of the IT requirements relating to regulatory and compliance in BD MMS markets.
- Lead and support digital transformation projects to support BD MMS cloud strategy.
- Assist healthcare providers through professional support and digital technology assessments at both national and local level.
- Work with marketing to collaborate with healthcare providers to produce testimonials and process-transformation studies to further explain and promote adoption of medical technologies.
- Ensure all installed BD MMS solutions are up to date with a clear roadmap to meet individual customer infrastructure requirements.
- Healthcare IT subject matter expert – ability to demonstrate and deliver a live presentation of our integration and interoperability capability.
- Align with the Platform Marketing, R&D and Product Development to inform and support strategies to ensure current and future roadmaps.
- Lead life-cycle management projects across the MMS portfolio
The role will require travel across the region in support of colleagues & customers as required, including overnight travel to meetings, training courses, and conferences outside of the region will be necessary from time to time.
The position is remote, and it involves traveling to customer sites within the Hub territory.

- Excellent customer interaction skills
- Detail oriented and analytical
- Project and Program management experience with complex projects
- Lean certification is desirable, and the ability to demonstrate lean thinking is a minimum requirement.
- Experience in continuous improvement projects is desirable.
