6 months - Application Support Specialist - CTRM Aspect (ION)

Description

Audit & Assessment:

• Conduct a comprehensive audit of the current state of Aspect from ION, identifying system configurations, customizations, and process flows.
• Work closely with stakeholders to document requirements, identify gaps, and provide recommendations for improvements.
• Develop a roadmap for realigning Aspect to meet business objectives and regulatory requirements.

System Configuration & Optimization:

• Reset configurations as needed to optimize performance and ensure alignment with best practices in CTRM.
• Implement adjustments to ensure the application meets the evolving needs of the client, including updates to permissions, workflows, and user access controls.
• Provide oversight for data accuracy, data flow, and integrity within the Aspect system and its interactions with other applications.

User Support & Training:

• Serve as the primary support contact for end-users, providing guidance on functionality, troubleshooting issues, and resolving support tickets.
• Develop and deliver training materials to ensure end-users are knowledgeable and proficient in using the Aspect application.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to address any reported application issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring smooth system operation.

Documentation & Compliance:

• Maintain thorough documentation of system configurations, changes, and procedures.
• Ensure that all modifications and workflows comply with company policies and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Assist with periodic audits to ensure ongoing compliance and system integrity.

Integration & SAP Collaboration:

• Collaborate with SAP specialists to plan and execute the integration of Aspect with SAP, ensuring a seamless data exchange between the two systems.
• Assist in designing integration workflows, documenting technical specifications, and troubleshooting integration issues as they arise.

Profile

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience:

• Prior experience with ION's Aspect CTRM is MANDATORY, including configuration, optimization, and support.
• 5+ years of experience in software application support, preferably with a focus on CTRM or commodity trading platforms.
• Experience with SAP integration is highly preferred.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in troubleshooting, configuration, and performance tuning of software applications.
• Familiarity with SQL, system auditing tools, and data integration platforms.
• Knowledge of SAP ERP systems and integration techniques is an huge plus.

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
