The Role
What you will do for Siemens Smart Infrastructure
This position requires the coordination and delivery of multiple, simultaneous workstreams for the development and the launch of our future Digital Service portfolio on global level. The Program Manager (f/m/d) takes overall responsibility for the agile innovation process and governance for the Service Tech Unit within SI Buildings.
Your new responsibilities
- Coordinate, moderate, and govern all portfolio innovation activities within the Service Tech Unit Service to reduce time-to-market
- Run the monthly global Lean Portfolio Management call with the global portfolio teams and the regional representatives to validate new service ideas
- Keep track the progress of all portfolio innovation activities and provide transparency to the management team and all stakeholders involved
- Ensure quality of all portfolio deliverables the by conducting gate reviews and train the portfolio management teams
- As the owner of the agile innovation process, you continuously improve and adapt the process, the supporting platforms (Jira and Power BI) and organizational interfaces based on KPI's and feedback from stakeholders
- Able to facilitate the collaboration between portfolio management, service operations teams, digital service centers and teams supporting the portfolio launch into the regions
- Be able to drive the agile transformation for the Tech Unit based on Scaled Agile Framework principles
- Be the "go-to-person" for all topics related to agile Service Portfolio Innovation
- As a direct report to the head of the Tech Unit Service, you own the management process of the Techn Unit: Efficient collaboration and target setting & tracking as well as the budgeting process
- Together with the head of the Tech Unit Service, you set the agenda and facilitate workshops with the global management team together with the assistance team
Your talents and experience
- Showcase educational excellence with a relevant Master's degree
- Eight years plus experience in a similar role and proven long term relevant professional experience in the field of Agile development and Process Quality
- Experienced project manager for complex programs with diverse and international collaboration partners
- Experience in working with cross-functional teams and driving cross projects in a matrixed organization
- Experience with Siemens or similar global technology companies is highly beneficial.
- Showcase the ability to energize, develop, and build rapport at all levels within an organization, creating a collaborative and growing environment
- Think strategically and wield influence in decision-making processes, contributing to the organization's overall strategic direction
- Strong communications and motivation skills
- Well-structured way of thinking and working
- Getting things done demeanor
- Fluent in English. Fluent German is a plus. Additional languages are welcome
