Staff Accountant

Job Objective
The Staff Accountant will work with senior leadership and various talents to confirm we are reporting and accounting for our income and salaries accurately. This position will require someone who can manage their time well to make sure all client payments and various accounts are reconciled monthly. You will be required to work on special projects based on business needs.
Main Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate reconciliation of payroll and customer accounts.
- Extract and analyze cash data from the previous month, incorporate necessary adjustments, and review contracts to ensure remittances are processed in accordance with agreed terms and conditions
- Ensure accuracy in processing and reviewing accounts receivable adjustments.
- Review and reconcile cash received from the previous month, incorporate any necessary adjustments, and run sales reports to determine commissions
- Contribute to the design and evolution of accounting and general workflows to enhance efficiency. Ensure all processes are thoroughly documented, kept up to date, and implement continuous process improvements
- Reconcile Bank statements for our operating account to ensure accuracy
- Assist with various month-end processes and ensure all reconciliations performed are thoroughly documented
- Collaborate with senior management on various reporting requirements and special projects. Handle requests from other teams and manage invoicing for additional projects
- All other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Finance or Accounting
- 2-3 years audit and/or reconciliation experience required.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel)
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
- The ability to create and present detailed reports.

- Strong aptitude in all applications in Microsoft Office, particularly in Excel
- Salesforce and SAP experience preferred
