Main activities and responsibilities
As part of the Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) department, you will plan, implement, and oversee SHE programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies while promoting a culture of safety and sustainability. Your tasks will include:
- Maintain and report SHE metrics to management and corporate systems
- Conduct risk assessments and propose mitigation measures
- Facilitate organization and leadership development efforts to address the root cause of SHE related issues.
- Influence and coach management and employees at all levels to ensure compliance with SHE program expectations and applicable federal and state laws
- Provide SHE training, including onboarding for employees and contractors
- Investigate incidents, drive corrective actions, and support emergency response
- Perform inspections, audits, and documentation updates
- Develop and lead SHE awareness campaigns
- Act as Deputy for the SHE Senior Manager when required
Your Profile
- A degree in an environmental or safety-related discipline (Safety officer/ Federal STPS certificate)
- Min. 2-5 years of experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in Swiss and EU SHE regulations (EKAS, ISO14001, ISO45001, ISO50001, GMP or equivalent)
- Proven ability to influence and coach teams, with strong communication skills in French and English
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- A collaborative team player with a proactive mindset
