The MES program lead plays a pivotal role in orchestrating the MES strategy and programs at the Leiden site, aligned with the MTO Strategic Vision. The position requires a skilled program manager with strong management capabilities and a proven track record in driving bold changes to support the site's digital transition and deliver enhanced business value.
This role is part of the Digital, Operational Excellence and Strategy (DOXS) team and reports to the Director of DOXS. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of the MES program, meeting scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives. Strong leadership in program management (end-to-end) and collaboration with Business, JJT, and Execution Systems will be critical for successful operations. Expertise in MES within a BioPharma context and the ability to mentor project teams are crucial.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning (25%): Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy and program across all business units to enhance and support MES systems.
- Program Execution (25%): Be responsible for the end-to-end execution of MES deployment across various functions, ensuring successful delivery within all workstreams.
- Leadership (20%): Provide coaching and mentorship to program teams, encouraging leadership and technical development.
- Collaboration (10%): Work closely with the NGM Program within DOTS to standardize MES technologies and share standard processes globally.
- Organisational Change (10%): Partner with the business to drive organizational alignment with new business capabilities and lead change effectively.
- Partner Communication (10%): Ensure clear, proactive communication of project updates to key internal and external customers.
Additional Duties:
Support the global DOTS and Global Go beyond organizations in the NGM MES deployment programs. Leverage insights to improve the deployment excellence approach for other sites.
